Estonian Post to start logistics operations in Latvia, Lithuania

Estonian Post, a postal services company, is planning to start logistics operations in Latvia and Lithuania in the first half of 2012.

The company said it will continue making investments into the development of logistics services in Estonia, and the local investments are linked to developing the information system that supports the provision of services.

Estonian Post head of logistics division Ansi Arumeel was quoted by baltic-course.com as saying that in the first quarter the company will start providing the service of parcel automats in Lithuania and after that also in Latvia - these are the most important investments and projects.

Estonian Post's logistics division focuses its activities to both international and domestic courier services, and is also developing warehouse and transportation services.
