FedEx buys UK e-commerce transportation solutions provider P2P Mailing

FedEx has acquired UK-based e-commerce transportation solutions provider P2P Mailing for £92m.

The acquisition will help FedEx to expand its presence in the global e-commerce marketplace.

P2P will be included in the FedEx Cross Border within the FedEx Trade Networks operating company.

Based in Laindon, P2P offers customers with last-mile delivery options through taking support support of private, postal, retail and clearance providers in more than 200 countries.

The company’s technology and processes offer plug-and-play options with carrier networks and customer systems.

Founded in 2009, P2P offers parcel delivery services, including trakpak, untrak, express and Returns.

Trakpak is a global tracked delivery solution designed to support ecommerce segment. It provides customers with complete end-to-end visibility of the delivery.

Untrak is a service platform for items that don’t require full tracking, and it facilitates layers of checking and visibility.

 P2P offers express air and road transportation to more than220 countries across the globe.

Recently, FedEx has introduced new solution for returns management, FedEx Returns Technology, for high-volume merchants and e-tailers.

Through using FedEx Returns Technology platform,, the merchants can track hipments, manage inventory, analyze returns trends and make informed decisions based on shoppers’ returns behaviors.
